Once upon a time, in the heart of the Enchanted Forest near Storybrook, there lived a small, cuddly teddy bear named Puffernut Wonderbear. (P. 1)
With his golden caramel swirly fur, leaf-shaped ears, and starry-eyed gaze, Puffernut was known for finding magic in everyday life. (P. 2)
He spent his days collecting "story seeds," talking to lost things, and exploring the wonders of nature with his best friend, Daisy, a fluffy doodle retriever dog. (P. 3)
Daisy, with her curly caramel coat and soft brown eyes, always knew how to comfort Puffernut when he felt shy or unsure. (P. 4)
One sunny morning, Puffernut had an idea that made his little heart flutter with excitement—he wanted to open a neighborhood bakery stand called "Puffernut's Bakery." However, as he imagined talking to customers, his courage wobbled, and he felt his confidence shrink like a deflated balloon. (P. 5)
Puffernut's gentle demeanor and slightly clumsy nature made him worry about greeting people and sharing his baked treats. Sensing his worry, Daisy appeared by his side, her light brown eyes full of encouragement. (P. 6)
With a wag of her fluffy tail, she held up a supportive sign that read, "YOU CAN DO IT!" Together, they practiced greetings, with Daisy pretending to be a customer, nudging Puffernut to say "hello" and "welcome" with a warm smile. (P. 7)
As they practiced, Puffernut's shimmering fur seemed to glisten more brightly, and his starry eyes twinkled with growing confidence. (P. 8)
By the big day, Puffernut felt ready—his little bakery stand was set up with a wooden banner reading "PUFFERNUT'S BAKERY" and a chalkboard menu listing "YUMMY COOKIES." As the first customer approached, Puffernut took a deep breath, and with Daisy by his side, he bravely greeted them. (P. 9)
Soon, the air was filled with happy chatter and the delicious scent of cookies, while Puffernut felt a swell of pride in his heart, knowing he had succeeded in his magical adventure with a little help from his best friend. (P. 10)
